I'm still here...

I just wanted to let you know that I'm still here.

My classes have been GREAT and I have learned so much about Online Marketing. One of the most important things I have learned is that Blogger is out and WordPress is in... 

And that is why I am in the process of moving this site to WordPress as we speak. The plan is that the new site will open on October 1st - ready for the BIG holiday = Halloween!

Mea Culpa

Among yesterday's new EBF product 4 of them has now been removed from the store and refunds have been given to buyers. Why? Well, I had made the mistake of putting something up for sale without the necessary quality check. I do sincerely apologize.

The products in question are "Vintage DIY Borders", "Vintage DIY Page Borders", "Vintage RTU Borders and "Vintage RTU Page Borders", and the problem is jagged edges.

I do not want to charge for bad products, especially products meant for designers, but I do, however, think that they might be OK to use in a personal layout or something similar. I do, after all, not want them to go to waist, so today I am offering all 4 products as freebies. You are warned about their flaws and can take necessary precautions when using them. I hope they can be of some use for you.

A request

Another "Anonymous" - or perhaps the same as yesterday? - made a request in a comment regarding silver bars for hanging banners. I have tried.... But I'm not so sure I succeeded.

I will, however, post the result and hope you can use it for something.

It ended up being a little more than just a silver bar. In the pack you'll get separate bars and end decorations in 6 different metal styles to combine to your need. The bars are app. 10 inches long but with end decos they will be almost full size (12 inches) - on the preview below they are shown in 100% . You should be able to make them smaller if you wish without ruining the look.

The request was actually for bars with rounds in each end, but I'm sorry to say that I didn't have the styles/actions to make a them look like balls. I have included the results as extras and hope your eyes/brain can perceive them as round...

Double Header

Hi again Dear Friends,

I can't believe it's been 2 weeks since my last post. I guess times fly when the sun is shining.... And it IS shining. I have now officially retired my winter coat, scarf and gloves and enjoy long walks in the sun.

This weekend is a long weekend here in Denmark - Friday/Saturday/Sunday Free! - so I want to make this a double feature: Two freebies for you today!

The first one is a Grab Bag and I better explain something about it. On my computer I have a folder called "Sand Box". That is where I go playing around when I want to try out new products or techniques. I keep almost everything I make there so once in a while I need to clear out my Sand Box. The result of such a clean-out is your freebie 1 for today. All kinds of misc-mix that never made it into a product - you get papers, elements, an overlay and a QP. I hope you will find some kind of use for it.

The second freebie is actually an oldie. It's a template that made it from the Sand Box into my "Use" folder. It is the most basic template I can imagine but I use it often and thought you might find pleasure in it as well. So here it is - The Very Basic Template. It comes in PSD for you to fumble around with - I have left every layer open so you can add colours/patterns and move the slits around for larger or smaller pictures or replace it on the background. I have also included a PNG version for those without PS/PSE. Finally, I have included a layout of my own for example/inspiration. I have labelled this template CU4CU but actually you can use it however you like.

If you need help using the PSD please email me and I will guide you the best I can.

2013 Goodies

I hope you have all joined the new year in a good way. I, personally, can't see how 2013 can be anything but better than 2012 (cross my fingers).

To celebrate this sparkling new year, I have a lot to share with you. But first I want to inform you of the latest chapter in the never ending story of storage hosting. My 4shared Premium account expired a couple of days ago and in spite all the problems I decided to renew. BUT.... to pay for the renewal I had to join some, to me, totally unknown payment services - they accept neither credit cards nor Paypal. That made me furious and I am now putting them in "time out" for a while. Enough of that. Now to the celebration of a new year. January is the worst time of the year to ask people to separate from their money. But I have taken care of that too... It's been far too long since I've had a sale. Weather Report

Today's Advent Calendar Freebie is inspired by what is going on outside my window right now. For the last week or so we have had light snow almost every day - nothing major. But early this morning it turned into a regular snow storm and as long as I can look at it from inside it's fabulous! I do, however, fear that I have to go shopping in a short while...

But the best kind of snow is the digital kind. It does not bother anyone in any way. Therefore, today you get a Snowflake Pattern to make your own snow storm. As I know you work in different SW I have included lots of files for you:

I really hope you won't hate me for today's post. First of all because today is my Birthday  (yeah!), but also because today's freebie is made with love. If you wonder how old I am today, I can reveal that the sum of my birthday is 9 - so now you can guess at anything between 18 and 81, but let's just say it's somewhere in the middle ;0)

Double Dots

Today I bring you a free Add-on for my new, not yet released product family "Double Dots". The full pack will be available in my SIS store in a day or two, but I want you to be the first to see what is in store for the dot-happy scrappers

The "For Sale Family" consists of the 4 products shown in the preview below, and will be available both as individuals and as a bundle (with discount of course).

But for absolutely nothing, you can now download the Add-On (or Pre-On?) to see, if it's something you can use. The Add-on contains:

8 coloured example papers

Everything is 12x12, 300 dpi and can be used for CU4CU.

Celebrations

I am celebrating today, and I want you to take part in my celebrations...

Today I am - finally - able to share my very first, home made PS Brushes! Yeah!

As you may know I have never gotten around to taking the step into making PS pre-sets before, mainly because I couldn't find the time to sit down and learn how. But then something happened... A star named Marisa Lerin, who is the owner of the fabulous site Pixel Scrapper, made a tutorial that in less than two minutes told me how to make my own brushes. I was so grateful to her that I promised to name my "first born" after her, and that is why today's freebie is called "Marisa Brushes".

The brush file contains an abr-file with 11 grungy shapes, but for those of you without PS/PSE, I have included png versions in both black and colours (the colour palette is also from Pixel Scrapper). I really hope you are just half as excited as I am, and will find use for them in you work. If I don't get too many complaints, I will make more in the future.

Before we go to download, I want to thank you for all your feedback on the Box issue. You were all right - I had reached my download limit (you don't get much from free Box). But I also learned that many of you actually like Box. I have therefore decided to continue using all 3 download options - at least until I find the Perfect One.

Out of Rehab

Hi All,

I'm now out of rehab and do not think of Halloween (much) anymore. That is why I want to bring you something totally different from the last 6 week's freebies. I have made you something simple.

A pack of 5 word border templates that you can finish off with your own colours, styles or other fancy stuff to your liking. I have also included an example of each border.
