I am now in a much better mood.

I have processed all the negativity and is out on the other side - happy as always. I want to thank you for all you supportive and inspiring comments. They really helped, and I will be back with products for sale soon. I don't know when or how, but I do know that this time it will be "pay up front" :0)

What could be better to celebrate regained happiness, than offering you a free bouquet of fresh tulips?

  • 4 patterns (PAT) - 3 coloured/1 transparent
  • 3 papers (JPG)

Loads of new EBF products - and a freebie

As mentioned yesterday, I have been busy uploading new products to my Trust Store - Everything But Freebies. And today I finally finished.

Here is a view of the new products in the store. Some are old SIS products and some are brand new. Go browse - I'm sure there is something you'll like....

...and I'm sorry, but I have to say it: "Please remember to pay for your products!"

But since this blog is named Nothing but Freebies, you will of course get free samplers of some of the new products.

Today's free sampler is from "Flourishing Patters". You get the 4 example papers included in the pack. I hope they can inspire you to want to make your own from the original product.

I'll be back very soon with more samplers/add-ons from the new products, so stay tuned.

400

Today we reach post number 400!

If that doesn't require some sort of celebration, I don't know what does....

I thought the best way to celebrate was to give you 4 freebies (sorry, I couldn't manage 400). The lazy part of me decided to only make 2 download links per freebie. I hope it doesn't cause you any problem, but if it does please contact me and I will upload it somewhere else.

Here we go:

First up is the Vintage Brads that I promised you.

Then Coloured Flowers as both overlays and transparent patterns.

Next is a Key Multi-Pack with a key design in 2 sizes as patterns, overlays, papers & bevels.

And finally a Highly Frameable Brush Pack with 30 frame brushes. Black PNGs are included.

Enjoy - and stay tuned for the next 400 posts.

I'm not sure if it's the arrival of Summer or last week's 3-day corticosteroid IV treatment that has made me a bit hyper active, but I have been very busy over the weekend.

Lemonade

I hope you are not getting too tired of my ornament papers...? If so, I have bad news: There will be plenty more coming. I have produced a HUGE bunch of them and I will post them for a long time. I will, however, mix in something else once in a while - promise.

Today's paper pack is called "Lemonade" simply because of the colours. Aren't they just yummy?

In my search for a new storage host I will be testing some of them over the next month or so. Please let me know what you think. Today it's SugarSync and 2shared.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more soon.

Another Challenge

Today I bring you my input for the Pixel Scrapper Challenge "Pattern Making". As you may know, I have made a lot of patterns before but this one is a little different, as it is not "just" 1 image repeated. I have tried to make it a little more varied if that is possible for a repeated pattern...

You get both papers, overlays and PAT file and 2 of them are grey scale for your own colouring.
  • 2 papers with white background - 12x12
  • 2 coloured overlays - 12x12
  • 2 grey scale overlays - 12x12
  • Pattern squares
  • PAT file
I hope you like it, and stop by Pixel Scrapper and see all the other participants' patterns - they are all free downloads.

See you again soon.

Your comments DO matter

Those of you who were with me when this blog started years ago may remember that I announced that comments and "thank you"s were not necessary. I did, however, change my mind about that very soon after getting the first comments and feeling the joy and motivation it brought me. Ever since, I have enjoyed every single comment you left me and not a day goes by where I don't check for any new ones. Thank you all for taking the time.

Within the last week or so, the number of serious feel-good comments have been pouring in, and that is why I want to make this post a tribute to comments.

I want to thank all of you who wished me well in relation to my MS. It always makes any kind of illness easier to handle when you have support - even if the support is from "unknown" friends thousands of miles away. The one meaning the most was this one from my very special web friend Sue:
"OMG ... I feel just terrible. I didn't realize that you are in treatments for MS. Please, please know that from this moment on ... you are in my prayers each day. I also want to speak as a nurse, do not, do not overdo. Everyone here in cyberville will want you to keep all your strength up, as well as, your bubbly personality. We are all you "followers" and only want what is best for you. Smiles and hugs being sent you way, lovey. Hugs, Sue"
XOXO right back at you, Sue.

I have also received a handful of the kind of comments that made me smile/laugh. One of them was for an older post but that doesn't matter - I read them all with same pleasure. The post was "The Story of the one left behind" about the little cute alpha, remember? If not, please go read it before reading the comment as it will make no sense without. The comment was from Handmaiden Dotty, who left me more than one pleasing comment, and it goes like this:
"Cute Little Alpha, now don't be sad. A long time has past but I'm very glad...because today I found you and knew you would be, just the right type of Alpha to make me happy. When the weather gets warm for a picnic some day, I'll take some pictures but not put them away. Instead, I'll take you out of my file, and make lovely words to make someone smile. A plaid tablecloth for a background you see, with lots of green grass where you'll look so pretty. My sweet great-grands will look from their picture frame and see your pretty Alpha face spelling their name. Dotty B, 2/17/2013. Just had to do what I do best, write little poems...so here is my thanks for your beautiful alpha and story. I enjoyed both! Bless you dear".
I LOVED IT! - Thank you so much Dottie :0)))

I could go on and on, but let me just end with this last one that is actually the cause of today's freebie.

When I posted my opinion on Pink this time of year, I got this comment from Linda from Arizona:
"You gave me a laugh. I feel the same way plus I hate the color pink. I love rose, raspberry but baby pink I just hate.Your papers are beautiful so I had to snag them. Purples, Teals and Limes are the colors I love. And browns and creams. For the next month, we will see nothing but greens and shamrocks but I know if you make them, they will be beautiful".
When I was reading this one I was actually in the middle of making today's freebie and it almost scared me. There I was making papers in just the colours Linda likes..... What are the chances?

Well, this one is for you Linda, and for all of you other lovely people who light up my life on a daily basis. Thank you for being out there!

I'll be back soon with something other than distressed papers, so stay tuned.

Love you all!

I DON'T hate love...

...and I don't hate Valentine's Day. But...

...each year in the middle of January  I REALLY get to hate the colour pink! When moving around in the scrapping part of cyberspace it all turns pink for a month and I start getting small pink dots in front of my eyes. I see hearts all around and then I start to think "Oh, no. I have to make something for Valentine's".

This year I decided I would not ride that particular train. I would ignore Valentine's Day and save my creative juices for something else. And what happened? Well, I ended up with today's freebie - pink and romantic!

And as if that wasn't enough - I even have yet another Valentine's related freebie for tomorrow (or Tuesday). What can I say? You can never run away from love!

Enjoy and return soon for more romance.

With lots of LOVE,

Distresses?

I have just noticed that it has been more than two weeks since you heard from me... I'm sorry!

It may have something to do with me returning to work. Even though it's only part time, it still steals away a lot of my computer time. But I'm here now, and I bring you a freebie.

I have a new addiction... distressed papers with ornament patterns. You will get a lot of them in the upcoming weeks, so I hope you love them as much as I do. The first one is a brown version inspired by and made with another wonderful colour palette from Design Seeds. The palette is included in the zip if you want to make your own additions.

Enjoy and come back soon for more.

Taking it easy

Hi everyone,

I'm sorry it's been a few too many days since my last post, but I have decided to take it easy this month. I have started treatment for my MS and that involve full days spend at the hospital just waiting to see if I get any side effects. BORING! And they don't even have any outlets matching my computer, so I have only 2 hours of PC power. But instead of getting annoyed I decided to make it a sign telling me to just relax. And that I have done. But now it's been too long even for me, so here is a new post of freebies for you.

First I have some bad-ish news. Jacquii, the store owner of Scrap it Sassy, has decided to close down the store. That means that as of February 1st I am without store. At this time I must say that it suits me just fine that I don't have the stress of delivering a certain amount of designs each month. But although it was not a large income, I will still miss the few dollars per month for new material, so I am thinking about making a sister site to this one, where I will make designs for sale (very low prices). Maybe I should call it Everything but Freebies...? ;0)))
I'll let you know what it ends up with as soon as I have decided. But let me just point out that due to the store closing it is not only my store that has a 50% off sale - it's the entire SIS store! So hurry over before it's to late.

STOP BLABBERING AND GIVE US SOMETHING! - Ok, ok, here it is.

You probably know by now that I have gotten a weak spot for making patterns. And today's freebie is no exception to that fact. I have made some great vintage patterns from a font! Yes, a font. Isn't that amazing? You get a PAT file with 7 different patterns in 3 sizes = 21 patterns. All black and with transparent background. But for all of you without PS or PSE the pattern zip also includes png overlays of all 21 patterns. And furthermore, I have also made a pack of example papers from the biggest size patterns.

Links below images. Hope you'll enjoy.
