I will be back on Wednesday with my last bunch of love (for now). See you then?

XOXO

I DON'T hate love...

...and I don't hate Valentine's Day. But...

...each year in the middle of January  I REALLY get to hate the colour pink! When moving around in the scrapping part of cyberspace it all turns pink for a month and I start getting small pink dots in front of my eyes. I see hearts all around and then I start to think "Oh, no. I have to make something for Valentine's".

This year I decided I would not ride that particular train. I would ignore Valentine's Day and save my creative juices for something else. And what happened? Well, I ended up with today's freebie - pink and romantic!

And as if that wasn't enough - I even have yet another Valentine's related freebie for tomorrow (or Tuesday). What can I say? You can never run away from love!

I have separated it into 3 zips for those of you without a high speed connection but there is also a link for the hard cores among you where you get it all in one go.

I don’t want to sound like a party pooper but I have to say that I have had enough pink and hearts for a very long time. Except, of course, for the big bouquet of soft pink tulips on my table that I bought for myself yesterday… It’s sad, I know. So now I’ll take a few days off and return with a little bit on Friday - and it will have NOTHING to do with Valentine’s Day - I promise!

See you Friday?

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Let me start this day by saying:

- every one of you who come here to download my designs. You are making the scrap-designing part of my life so much better!

And to thank you I hereby give you 2 new additions to my month long Valentine’s Kit: Gem stones and single stitches.

A Little Bit Friday 30

Yet another week is almost over but not until we have spend a lovely weekend doing nothing - except the things we want to do… And what could be better than scrapping?

To stay in the Valentine’s mood today’s little bit is a Dear Diary Frame to show of the love of your life. I have included two frames - one with text and one without so you can add your own text (font info is included in the zip).

I will be back during the weekend with more Valentine stuff as I have a lot to give away before Valentine’s Day is over.

I just noticed: Today is one of those days where the date is the same forwards and backwards - at least when you write it as we do here in Denmark... 11.02.2011!

See you soon!

I Bet it’s an Alpha

and I won the bet…

Today you get the third Valentine Alpha, this time a beautiful pink gothic alpha with upper and lower cases (Danish Æ,Ø & Å incl.), numbers and symbols.

Have fun scrapping and come back on Friday for A Little Bit.

Make a Heart

I hope you all had a great weekend… and for all of you Super Bowl Fans: hope you cheered for the right team! For me I didn’t have “a tema” so I honestly didn’t watch for any other reason than hearing Aguilera sing the National Anthem - and that was worth staying up late for (forgotten lyrics or not)! The game doesn’t start until 1 am here in Denmark but for some reason I stayed awake for the first 3 quarters. Don’t ask me why. But I must say I was a bit disappointed: No one served me pizza or Buffalo wings, not even a small tub of popcorn..! Where did I go wrong?

Well, after sleeping most of the day I am now ready to offer you today’s part of my Valentine’s Series, and it includes a little D.I.Y. You get 7 hearts and 7 scribble frames for you to mix and match as you please or use separately, if that’s what you like.

Have fun and come back soon!

A Little Bit (Valentine’s) Friday

Today’s Little Bit is actually just more for my Valentine’s Kit. I have made you 7 bow rings - one in each of the Valentine colours. I must admit that I’m not quite sure how to use them but they were just so cute I had to give them to you. And I’m sure you can find a use for them… (…and when you do, you might want to show me?).

Have a fantastic weekend - see you soon.

Spread a little love…

We all need a little love - sometimes a LOT!

So why not scatter your layouts with hearts - not only around Valentine’s Day, but all year? Here is my contribution to your love-scattering:

9 heart scatters in various sizes and colours + 1 full size overlay.

Let me end this post by saying THANK YOU for all your comments and support on Monday. It really helps to know that you are out there :o)

See you Friday for this weeks’s Little Bit?

What a Weekend….!

I want to star by thanking Anonymous who had discovered my designs in other places under a different author’s name. Thank you so much - whoever you are. I have been absolutely burning with anger all weekend. Not because of Anonymous “The Informer” (to her I am eternally grateful), but because of Anonymous “The Thief(s)”. Can you explain to me what they get from stealing other people’s designs, repack them (without my TOU of course) and upload as their own? They didn’t even bother to make their own preview…

The only positive things I have to say about people like that is that they are kind enough not to sell my designs and making money on my freebies (as far as know!) and they have really good taste in design…

So if you by any chance are one of the culprits back here for more - STOP IT! Try making your own designs. When you find out how much time (and money) it takes you might think twice before stealing from others.

If you are a fellow designer of freebies you might want to check out these sites for your designs:

http://kopona.org
http://www.downturk.info/

If you on your way around cyber space see any of my designs posted by others than me, please let me know by posting a comment or sending me an email.

Finally, a BIG thank you to Beth from the UK for saving my weekend with her really kind "thank you mail" - I love that kind of mails. It's nice to know that appreciation wins over abuse.

But enough about that - I can feel the anger coming back… I better read Beth's mail again before I go on...

Ahh, that's better.

Today I give you more love - another Valentine Alpha in gradient glitter from pink to silver. You get a full alpha (including Danish Æ, Ø & Å) with numbers and symbols.

Have fun and see you in February.

See you Friday for A Little Bit.

Love Letters

Here I am again - apologizing!

I promised you a weekend freebie but did not keep my promise - I’m Sorry…

But Sunday I had the family over for pancakes (or crêpes to be correct) and bingo, and that, as you can imagine, took priority ;o) And today has been busy as well. But here I am and so is your freebie. I have made you a very lovely Valentine QP but also added some png love letters for you to use in your own Valentine LOs. For those interested I can reveal that the poem used is written by a very famous Danish poet and author - myself (again I apologize ;o))

Hope you can find a loved one to use this for.

I am not making anymore promises so I’ll simply say: “See you soon”.

Valentine Alpha 1

I have skipped A Little Bit Friday this week as I think it’s time for a Valentine Alpha - and that does not fall into the category “a little bit”…

And as the number in the name suggests, it may not be the last before Valentine’s Day.

This one is a very decorative alpha that can be changed into an endless number of alphas with a very small amount of work from you. The basic alpha has a transparent centre and I have added alpha sheets in all 7 Valentine colours for you to use as background to fill the centres. Or you can fill it with a colour of your choice. The sheet alphas can also be used as stand-alone alphas or as mix-and-match… as I said, endless opportunities.

Have fun and check back during the weekend as I hope to make a weekend posting…

Have a Great Weekend!

Please come back Friday for A Little Bit.

Valentine’s Water Colours

Sorry for leaving you post-less over the weekend. But I had a weekend were I did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING - and it felt GREAT!

But this is a new week and Valentine’s Day is 3 days closer so here is today’s Valentine’s freebie: 35 water colour strokes, mists and dots in the colours from the Valentine’s Colour Pallet. They are all transparent but if you prefer a more solid colour just layer 2, 3 or 4 on top of each other.

I will be back again on Wednesday - see you then?

Closing in on Valentine’s

In only one month it’s Valentine’s Day. Out with the red, green and gold of Christmas and the glitter of New Year’s and in with the PINK! - Oh, we are in a busy business…

I have decided to use the same colour chart for all my Valentine’s designs this year so everything will go together. The chart is made by The Urban Fairy.

First up is a CU pack of bowstrings that can be used for all seasons. They are made with one of the fab bowstringer actions by Marbled Circle.

Have fun and come back soon!
