Good news, bad news and a freebie

WOW! Summer has made it's arrival here in Copenhagen... Over night we went from 12 C to 23 C and my body can hardly adjust - not to mention my wardrobe.

Well enough about the weather. I have good news and bad news today and I will start with the good news and finish with a freebie so that the bad news is wrapped up in between and hopefully won't spoil your day completely.

The good new is actually not that new but it is to me and thereby maybe to some of you too. I want to share some great sites with you that provide excellent free stuff with very generous TOUs.

If you, like me, are in love with colors you must visit Design Seeds - http://design-seeds.com/ - where you'll find hundreds of color palettes in the most awesome color combinations. And the pictures used for the palettes are in themselves an inspiration.

Finally a true heaven for paper (and color) lovers: Mel Stampz - http://melstampz.blogspot.com/ - is offering the most awesome paper sets in wonderful colors and designs, vintage as well a modern. Hundreds of papers (and more) are waiting for you.

Beware of Greeks bearing gifts!

I guess most of you know this saying referring to the Trojan Horse Episode. But yesterday I found out that the saying is not always true…

By (a lucky) accident, I stumbled upon the blog 1000+1 Free Graphics by Lefkoi Lykoi – and the name is telling the truth. Loads and loads - and loads – of extraordinary free stuff: Frames, styles, patterns, brushes, papers, jewelry and I could go on. Everything is of a very high quality! The only downside (for a designer like me) is that everything is PU, but I think it’s something I can live with and see it as a sign for me to scrap more than I have lately.

I HIGHLY recommend that you visit Lefkoi but set of plenty of time for it – you will be amazed.

I personally downloaded over 6 GB on my first visit and am deeply thankful. Therefore, I hereby give this award to Lefkoi and her blog and keep an eye on my “blogs I follow” for her next product.
