Sad News
I'm not sure I have the right words to express what I need to express....
Right now I'm feeling a mix of sadness, disappointment and a good deal of anger.
After posting my new products on Everything But Freebies I took an inventory and found out that there were made downloads for $56 and the amount paid for it was...... 0$! And that was only for the new products. All in all products worth 174$ has been downloaded and my total income has been 23$ - That's bad business!
I am not willing to be a fool for my trust in other people so as of 10 minutes ago Everything But Freebies does no longer exist. I have closed the store for good.
To release just some of the anger I feel, I have to ask: "What were you thinking? Did you care at all that what you did was stealing? Did you for one second consider that what you took was something I have spend a lot of time and money making? - I hope that you at least feel a sliver of remorse right now, and if you do you can still use the Donate button here on NbF".
Well, it didn't help much, but maybe time will heal. At the moment I do NOT want to place my trust in other people's honesty, and that's just SAD!
I apologize to - and thank - those of you who have actually used the store as it was meant to.
When the disappointment lifts I might make a new store, but then it will be a regular store where you pay before you get the product.

Mea Culpa
Among yesterday's new EBF product 4 of them has now been removed from the store and refunds have been given to buyers. Why? Well, I had made the mistake of putting something up for sale without the necessary quality check. I do sincerely apologize.
The products in question are "Vintage DIY Borders", "Vintage DIY Page Borders", "Vintage RTU Borders and "Vintage RTU Page Borders", and the problem is jagged edges.
I do not want to charge for bad products, especially products meant for designers, but I do, however, think that they might be OK to use in a personal layout or something similar. I do, after all, not want them to go to waist, so today I am offering all 4 products as freebies. You are warned about their flaws and can take necessary precautions when using them. I hope they can be of some use for you.

Again - I'm so sorry! But I hope this solution can make some sort of amends.
See you soon.
XOXO

Loads of new EBF products - and a freebie
As mentioned yesterday, I have been busy uploading new products to my Trust Store - Everything But Freebies. And today I finally finished.
Here is a view of the new products in the store. Some are old SIS products and some are brand new. Go browse - I'm sure there is something you'll like....
...and I'm sorry, but I have to say it: "Please remember to pay for your products!"
But since this blog is named Nothing but Freebies, you will of course get free samplers of some of the new products.
Today's free sampler is from "Flourishing Patters". You get the 4 example papers included in the pack. I hope they can inspire you to want to make your own from the original product.
Download links below image.
I'll be back very soon with more samplers/add-ons from the new products, so stay tuned.

New in store & a Freebie
I'm not sure if it's the arrival of Summer or last week's 3-day corticosteroid IV treatment that has made me a bit hyper active, but I have been very busy over the weekend.
I have uploaded 3 new products to my store, Everything But Freebies:
First the long awaited "Faith Kit" incl. Add-Ons - 3$.
Then an Alpha Pack with 4-in-1 Old Paper Alphas - 2$
And finally a pack of tagger size Vintage Jewellery - 1$
But no Promos without a Freebie......
Today's freebie is a CU pack of Papers/Overlays/Patterns made from one simple "X" in a font - it's amazing how far you can get with so little. The pack contains:

- 4 PAT files with all the above
The patterns come in 7 colours and 3 sizes.
I hope you can make something great with these.

Garden Tea Party - Day 1
Finally ready...
Today is the first day of my Garden Tea Party, the new (big) kit for my store, that you will have a chance to get free.
Day by day for the next 8 days I will post a part of the kit here on NbF and if you stick with it you will end up having the full kit. The free parts will only be available until 25th May when it is moved to the store. So be sure to drop by every day until 22nd May when the last part is posted.
Since the kit is made from a colour palette of 8 colours I have made a day part for each colour. That means that each day you get a set of different material (elements, papers and alpha) in one colour. The full alpha, however, is broken into pieces with a new piece each day.
To let you know what you're in for, I'll give you the previews for the full kit:
I really hope you will enjoy my Garden Tea Party.
!!!!PLEASE NOTICE!!!!
I have made a "no-no" with the preview for the papers...
It says PU S4H/S4O when it should have been PU.
Please use the full kit as PU only.
DAY 1 - download links below image
So sorry!
This freebie has expired.
If you REALLY want it the full kit is available
in my store from Monday 27th May '13:
See you tomorrow for the tan part.
XOXO

iNSD
Here we go again... A weekend of downloading, unpacking and spending WAY too much money. Yes, it's International Scrap-booking Day again! I have already spend a LOT of time chasing freebies and blog trains and can only say - it's a good year!
I too want to join in the celebration so for this weekend only I give you a great deal in my store:
Image linked to store
The sale starts NOW and will continue until sometime when even the western parts of USA ends their Sunday. I have not put any sale prices up in the store so all you have to do it choose your products, download and then donate half of the costs. I hope that is not too much brain activity for a weekend ;0)
I have only one "rule" about this sale: Please don't buy for less than $1 as a donation of 50 cents will be eaten up by the PayPal fee.
As suggested by some of you, I have now removed the download links in the store from the images and instead put in a "DOWNLOAD" text below it. That should prevent "mistaken downloads" when all you want is to look at the preview image.
As an extra treat I have added 2 new products to the store - click images to get there:
"Retro Summer Kit" (PU) - $3 / $1.5 on sale
"SIS Collab 8/11" (PU) - $1 / 50 cents on sale
Please visit the store and get whatever you have on your mental wish list while it's half price.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
As promised earlier this year, I will never advertise for "Everything But Freebies" here on this blog without bringing you a freebie, so here it is:

I hope you will all enjoy iNSD weekend and my new alpha.

Maths 101 - Did I misplace my trust?
Hi again,
I'm back with a little less happy post than the previous. But let's start out gently.
I have just added 3 new products to my store - each image is linked to the product in the store:
Metal Tag Frames - CU - 2$
SIS Collab 03.11 - CU - 1$
The Easy Life Kit - PU/S4H - 2$
I hope you'll like them.
And now for the more serious part....
"Everything But Freebies" has now been open for business for a month and I made a little evaluation of the success. Well, maybe lack of success - let's do the maths:
- 37 products have been downloaded
- each product is at least 1$
- total payment received: 11$
...something doesn't add up!
I hope this is because not all have understood the concept of a Trust Store, so I'll let it run for another month before I decide on what to do. Maybe it's because some of my customers wanted the product but didn't have the money to pay for it until the pay check arrived? So maybe the payments will come tomorrow when a new month starts? I also suspect the non-payers to be "outsiders" as I can not imagine my old, faithful blog readers could do something like this.
Well, I might add a little payment reminder on each post in the store. Don't take it personally - I know you didn't "steal" anything.
Let's all cross our fingers and hope for better results for April.
Now you really deserve a freebie!
I have made a couple of frames for you named "Urban Cowboy" - enjoy!

See you soon!
XOXO

They are all PU Only but just 1$ each! Go check them out - images are linked to store.

I DID IT
As mentioned a few weeks ago, my home store, Scrap It Sassy, closed on 1st February, and I then decided to start my own store. I didn't want a normal store but didn't quite know what a not-normal store was. After some thinking I have now defined it, and my new store is open for business....
The name is - drum roll - "Everything But Freebies". It was the first name I thought of and it kept turning up in my mind all through my long name search.
Label linked to store
The not-so-nomal thing about it is that it's a Trust Store. You probably know the concept from other places - the farmer's stall by the road or candy/snacks at work. It simply means that you can download directly and THEN pay for your download(s) by donating via PayPal = I trust you. You can read more on how it's done here.
AND - I will keep the prices as low as possible: Most products will be 1$ or 2$ a few a little more but NEVER more than 4$ and that is only for the big kits.
I must say that the store is still a beta version = not totally final in layout, concept, etc. and I have not yet uploaded all the products. But it's a pretty good start and you will currently find 16 products available (all former SIS products) and new will keep coming. I will keep you informed about new store products here on NbF.
Please go check it out and feel free to let me know what you think.
In connection with the store opening I have also changed a few things here on NbF. I have decided to use my designer name, Danish Design, here as well to better connect the two, and a new label is born:
From now on you will find this on ALL my creations, both NbF freebies and EBF products. One designer - two outlets.
Please don't worry. This new store does NOT mean that I will forget about the freebies. I will continue NbF just the way it has always been. And on top of that you will over the next month or so get freebies that were formerly SIS products but now free for all.
The first one is here today. A full Valentine's Alpha (yeah, I know) that can be used for so much more than Valentine's. I hope you'll enjoy it.
Download links below image.
Thank you for making it all the way to the end of this long post. I'll see you again very soon.
XOXO
