A Special Kit

I don't think anyone can be in any doubt that we are in the season of "Back To School". The Scrap World is overfloading with school equipment in bright colours, kid's alphas and funny word art. But surfing around all that, I realized something significant... What if you go back to school as an adult?

The reason for such an interest is simple: Tomorrow I'M GOING BACK TO SCHOOL!

Yes, that's right. OK, it's not "real" school - just a 6 week course, but I found out that if I was ever to have any chance of getting a job in my line of work, I had to catch up with the latest trends and techniques. So I signed up for a course in "Online Marketing". And I think many adults do the same, so since there is no "adult school kits" out there, I decided to make one myself.

Use it, if you are among those who find leaning a life long process, or maybe find inspiration in it to go back to school yourself. It's NEVER too late to LEARN!!!

Age = Experience = Knowledge

As it is a rather large kit, I have split it up in 3 parts, but if you have the connection for it you can also take the full kit in one go. And to spare my limited space on the different storage sites, I have also chosen to upload ONLY to Mediafire - hope it wont cause you problems. You find the download links below the image.

PART 2

PART 3

ALL-IN-ONE (80 MB)

I hope you can find use for it - student or not.

For your information: This studying thing will probably make it a little difficult for me to make freebies for you  for the next 6 weeks, so don't worry if you don't hear from me. I will, however, do everything I can to find time.

So until next time - LIVE, LOVE, LEARN!

XOXO

GTP Day 8 - The Party is Over

All good things come to an end, even my Garden Tea Party.

Today is the last part of the kit - the teal part - and I hope you have managed to get them all including the 2 add-ons. If not, you still have a couple of days to do it. The links will be up until Saturday and after that you'll have to pay for it in my store.

GTP Day 6 + Add-On Bonus

Day 6 already... There is only 2 more days left of the Garden Tea Party and today is a holiday here in Denmark (Monday holidays are the BEST), so wouldn't it be appropriate to throw in another little Add-On? I think so - and no garden party can be without flowers, even if they are made of fabric.

GTP Day 5

I'm glad my Garden Tea Party is a digital event and not in real time, cause then it would have been canceled today. The rain has arrived :0))) I must admit it's a blessing for me, but I'm not too sure if the thousands of people running the Copenhagen Marathon outside my windows will agree with me... I can only say that if I was to run a marathon (oh yeah - AS IF) I would prefer today's rain to yesterday's heat. But that is not important as I am not - and never will be - running the Copenhagen Marathon. What is important, however, is today's part of the Garden Tea Party - the cooling off-white part, so here you go:

GTP Day 4

Not much chatter today - it's TOO HOT! The keyboard is sticking to my fingertips and the room I'm sitting in is slowly running out of air. So here you are:

Hey.... don't go away yet!

If you have been following this site you probably know that I have been sighing for warmer weather for some time. My wish has been granted - but going from a beautiful but chilly spring to 25C overnight is more than neither my body nor my wardrobe was prepared for. I am sweating bullets - so I have prepared a little Add-On for the Garden Tea Party for you: Popsicles for everyone!

GTP Day 2 + Help needed

I'm back with Day 2 of my Garden Tea Party. But before we get to that I need your help...

Yesterday I received an email from Michele about the "Very Basic Template" posted here. She wrote:

"...First let me say, I love this image!  I just need to figure out how to use it.  I use Memory Mixer software to do my pages and maybe that is the problem, but I cannot make the gray area fill with a chosen paper.  It just stays gray.  Can you guide me in this?..."

As I have NO IDEA how Memory Mixer works I promised Michele to make a shout-out to you. So if you can help Michele with this problem, PLEASE email me and I will make sure to forward it to Michele. Thank You.

And now for the Party. Today's colour is tan (or something in that area).

Garden Tea Party - Day 1

Finally ready...

Today is the first day of my Garden Tea Party, the new (big) kit for my store, that you will have a chance to get free.

Day by day for the next 8 days I will post a part of the kit here on NbF and if you stick with it you will end up having the full kit. The free parts will only be available until 25th May when it is moved to the store. So be sure to drop by every day until 22nd May when the last part is posted.

Since the kit is made from a colour palette of 8 colours I have made a day part for each colour. That means that each day you get a set of different material (elements, papers and alpha) in one colour. The full alpha, however, is broken into pieces with a new piece each day.

To let you know what you're in for, I'll give you the previews for the full kit:

I really hope you will enjoy my Garden Tea Party.

!!!!PLEASE NOTICE!!!!

I have made a "no-no" with the preview for the papers...

It says PU S4H/S4O when it should have been PU.

Please use the full kit as PU only.

The Spotlight hit me

Happy Easter everyone!

I hope you are all enjoying the Holidays. Personally, I am using this very long weekend to RELAX and trying to get to the bottom of my many "must-do-soon" projects. But earlier this week I go a wonderful surprise. I was hit by spotlight...

I got a mail from Marisa at Pixel Scrapper asking if I would like to be the Pixel Scrapper Spotlight Designer. DAHHH! I would LOVE it - and see it as a great honour. It ended up in this little feature portrait on Pixel Scrapper where you can read a little bit about me as a person and designer AND download my special Pixel Scrapper Freebie.

Click the image to go to the Spotlight.

And while you are there, please join us on Pixel Scrapper. It's a great place to be.

I have a LOT more to share with you, so I will be back later today (or first thing tomorrow) - stay tuned.

XOXO

A trip down Memory Lane

Today I bring you another used-to-be-SIS product, and that really brought on nostalgia...

This is the first Kit I ever made for sale and I remember being enormously proud of it. When I look at it today I must admit that my reaction is "Ahw, how cute, nice and naive...". I have to say I have grown a bit as a designer since then. That doesn't mean I don't like it. I still love it as my first born. And now I hope you'll love it as well.

Let me introduce you to "Raspberry & Cream Kit":

As it is quite big, I have separated it into 3 zips - download links next to images.

Enjoy and have a nice week. I'll be back soon.

The final door is now open

I promised you this Day 24 today (25th) and here in Denmark I'm stretching it - it's 11 pm at the moment - but I know that it is still early in a large part of the world, so I guess it's OK. The delay is caused by my very busy Christmas Day schedule = Doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Sorry. I'll make up for it with an AddOn tomorrow, OK?

The final day of this year's Advent Calendar brings you a complete kit. I have chosen the name "Country Christmas", don't ask me why, but I guess it's because of the colours. I hope you will like it and that you have enjoyed the full calendar of this month.

Can I just use a minute of your time to wish you and your close ones a Very Merry Christmas. I have truly enjoyed creating for you this past year and hope to see you all back again for the next one.

Have a peaceful and lovely time in what is left of your Christmas and I will return tomorrow with the AC Add-On.

Christmas XOXO

A quarter of the way there

When darkness falls

and December frost bites

Brighten you life

with Christmas Lights....

Oh boy, I am a poet!

Opening today's Advent Calender door reveals a mini-mini-kit of Christmas Lights. 2 strings and 2 overlays/papers. I have made the overlays as PNGs, layered PSDs (with and without shadows) and as example papers, JPGs, with white background. Go light up your day!

Tomorrow will bring you yet another Advent Calendar door to open. See you then.

The ABSOLUTE FINAL Halloween

Today is the absolute final, no-going-back, end of Halloween on NbF!

But there are PLENTY of freebies to grab, so fill your coffee/tea cup and grab you mouse.

Before I start, I have to plea guilty to charges not yet filed... I made a boo-boo (isn't Halloween the perfect time for that?). A lot of you have commented on the picture of the candy cat I posted on Halloween and asked where I got it from. Well, I downloaded it from Facebook. BUT.... I have now discovered, that the picture is actually owned by Jadjdj and originates from Flickr ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/7495438@N08/7982595791/ ) with "All rights reserved". Oh, oh.... I do apologize if I have done anything wrong. But at least Jadjdj's picture was viewed and loved. That must count for something in my defence, right.

And now, let's get down to business.....

This final Halloween post brings you no less than 5 freebies including everything - papers, alphas, elements and backgrounds.

First up is the alphas. They are "only" alpha sheets, as I did not have time for separating them. My apologies to those of you who haven't got the SW to do it yourself.

As usual: Click images for direct download (4shared) or use alternative links below the images.

First Alpha Pack is separated into 2 zips so be sure to get them both - no link from image!

And then we have a pack of Halloween Scenes, or HallowScenes as I have called them.

And finally, the "left overs". As always with my big themes, you get a Doggy Bag with everything not used in the kits and packs. I hope you can find some use for it.

Please let me know if I have messed up the links - they are not easy to manage.

That was that. Halloween closes and will not return for another 10-11 months. I hope you have enjoyed the ride and look forward to seeing you again soon for something totally different.

XOXO

For the kiddies

I promised you a week or two ago that I would make some Halloween material a little more child friendly. Here it is...

As usual I got started and found it hard to stop, so I hope you have time and band with enough for today's download. Even when separated into 3 parts, they are still a bit on the heavy side. What you get for the trouble is:

• 12 papers
• 72 elements
• 1 alpha

And only because of the size, I have kept more papers and alphas for the coming days!

As you can see, I have not made it too non-scary - children do, however, LOVE A THRILL, don't they? I mean, why else would we have Halloween?

I give you the previews here, but they are not linked today. Links can be found after the images.

Please be aware - the 3 individual previews do not represent what is in the 3 zip parts. They are a mix of them.
