Princess & Princesses

During the past week our "neighbourhood" has been invited to no less that two princess christenings (only on TV I'm afraid) - more about the details below. That inspired me to make something princess-ish for today's freebie.

But as so often before, I got carried away and the final result turned out a little different. I recently purchased a grab bag by KimB and Manu that included a Cameo Template pack, and as I started making a cameo for my little Princess Mini-Kit, it was so much fun that I never got to the rest. And that is why today's freebie is a pack of cameos only....I hope you can find some use for them.

On Sunday our own Prince Joachim and Princess Marie christened their daughter. She was given the names

Athena Maguerite Françoise Marie

And if you are wondering, both the mother and paternal grandfather are French...

Then on Tuesday it was Sweden's turn. Crown princess Victoria and Prince Daniel christened their first born in Stockholm. She was given the names

Estelle Silvia Ewa Mary

Aren't they just the cutest?

Good news, bad news and a freebie

WOW! Summer has made it's arrival here in Copenhagen... Over night we went from 12 C to 23 C and my body can hardly adjust - not to mention my wardrobe.

Well enough about the weather. I have good news and bad news today and I will start with the good news and finish with a freebie so that the bad news is wrapped up in between and hopefully won't spoil your day completely.

Finally a true heaven for paper (and color) lovers: Mel Stampz - http://melstampz.blogspot.com/ - is offering the most awesome paper sets in wonderful colors and designs, vintage as well a modern. Hundreds of papers (and more) are waiting for you.

Summer?

For some unexplained reason my creativity went into summer mode yesterday. I began thinking of summer garden parties and ice cream and ended up with today's freebie: A paper pack in ice cream colours with a little "bonus sprinkle" on top.

Shout Out and QP

Today I would like to make a Shout Out for a fantastic designer: Marisa Lerin @ Pixel Scrapper.

She makes the most wonderful designs - papers, elements, templates etc. - and she gives it all away for free. And we like that, don't we?

Her latest kit is called Berlin and is super great in many ways. First of all it's filled with the most wonderful designs, it contains no less than 5 alphas (oh, I do like alphas!!) but also it's all in grey and tan which means it can be easily re-coloured if needed. Take a look:

But don't miss out on all her other kits and freebies. If you can afford it, please either buy something from her store or donate a small amount to keep the wheels running. You may not all be aware of it, but it costs quite a bit to run a freebie site and it would REALLY be a shame if the site have to close one day due to insufficient funding!(I can quietly add that the same goes for this site...)

For today's freebie I have made a QP for you entirely out of Berlin stuff, but I have added a little splash of colour to match the picture - I really hope you like it.

Clip Alpha

Hi Everybody!

I hope you all enjoyed a fabulous iNSD Weekend. I think this year was fantastic.... I was on line from Thursday night until Monday morning just to try and keep up with the millions of offers from al over the world. I would like to thank all the suppliers of great freebies and fantastic sales this weekend. You made it the best iNSD ever!

I did have plans to deliver something myself, but as you should have noticed by know, I didn't make it. That is why I now plan to share with you some of the great things I purchased/got for free over the weekend. I will try getting as much in over the next weeks as I possibly can, so stay tuned....

The first little bit for today is an Alpha made with a Mommyish Freebie style that I was particularly happy to stumble upon as I had been searching for one for weeks. Thank you for making it available AND free!

But before we get t the download bit, I have to apologize for the link... The #!XZ#!! 4shared is a mess AGAIN and keep telling me that "the server is unavailable"! So much for paying extra for their services!!! Therefore, I have been forced to use Hotfile this time and that means no direct download. I hope you can live with it until I find another host to use.
