The final door is now open

I promised you this Day 24 today (25th) and here in Denmark I'm stretching it - it's 11 pm at the moment - but I know that it is still early in a large part of the world, so I guess it's OK. The delay is caused by my very busy Christmas Day schedule = Doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Sorry. I'll make up for it with an AddOn tomorrow, OK?

The final day of this year's Advent Calendar brings you a complete kit. I have chosen the name "Country Christmas", don't ask me why, but I guess it's because of the colours. I hope you will like it and that you have enjoyed the full calendar of this month.

Can I just use a minute of your time to wish you and your close ones a Very Merry Christmas. I have truly enjoyed creating for you this past year and hope to see you all back again for the next one.

Have a peaceful and lovely time in what is left of your Christmas and I will return tomorrow with the AC Add-On.

Christmas XOXO

Busy times

Chopping the almonds, basting the goose, cleaning the bathrooms, trying to make myself look slightly presentable before the guests arrive....

I DO love Christmas, but, boy, there is a lot to do in a very short time. That is why I won't be able to post your last Advent freebie today after all. Tomorrow should be a lot more laid back and I'm almost sure to find time for you then.

Until then, let me bring you this lovely greeting downloaded today from The Graphics Fairy and wish you all a Very Merry Christmas.

Lots of Love & Best Christmas Wishes,

A Fairytale Christmas

One of history's most famous Danes is of course Hans Christian Andersen - poet, writer of fairytales and paper clipper. No Danish Christmas is really Christmas without some sort of HCA influence. That is why today's Advent Calendar brings you paper clip - not actually made by HCA but still...

I hope you'll enjoy this little Danish input to your Christmas.

If you want more Danish Christmas (and wasn't around a year ago) you can get my Danish Christmas Kit HERE.

See you tomorrow, I hope?

For the small photos

We are getting awfully close to The Day. I just want to remind you that here in Denmark The Day is 24th December, so that will be the final day for this Advent Calendar. But don't worry, there will still be freebies after that - even one or two Christmas ones...

On this the 21st day of December I bring you a pack of 4 small Christmas frames. They can be used for cards, added to a layout or even as journalling cards. It's all up to you and your imagination.

Enjoy the last days and spend them wisely (= for fun only).

More Forest Christmas

Since you were all so delighted by the Forest Christmas Papers posted in the beginning of the month, I have made you a few more. This time a little less basic - hope it's OK.

The pack contains 4 full size papers with trees and deer and snowy hills.

As usual I will try my best to be back tomorrow with Day 21.

Didn't make it today...

I didn't quite finish today's Advent Calendar Freebie, so instead I give you what should have been the 15th freebie, but was replaced by something else because of the big file.

I have uploaded the "Christmas Ball Glitter Overlays" to Dropbox, so if you have the patience and the bandwidth, you can now get it there (72 MB). The overlay freebie contains only the middle size Christmas balls.

I plan on returning tomorrow with 18 & 19. See you!

Labels and a little time travel

Let's start today by travelling back in time to yesterday...

I got a comment/request about the shadows on the Candy Cane Alpha. I know not everybody likes pre-shadowed items, but sometimes the shadows are included in the used styles and it's just easier to let it stay that way. But other times I've got the time to go with your wishes, so her is an extra version of yesterday's alpha - now without the shadows.

And we are back in real time!

Today's Advent Calendar brings you a set of Kraft Christmas Labels. Besides the obvious, they are also printable if you want to use them on your Christmas presents.

Take care of yourselves and each other - see you again tomorrow!

Alphabetic Sugar-rush

Imagine.... Download storage & bandwidth should be the biggest problem regarding sharing free stuff on line! I have now been searching for yet another home for my freebies that didn't obstruct your downloads on the 7th of each month, and so far I have decided the following:

I will continue to upload to 4shared as my prime storage and Box and MediaFire as secondaries. BUT... because of this month's daily postings for the Advent Calendar I have added Dropbox to the list (thank you for the advise JeannieK). I will be copying all the Advent Calendar files to Dropbox and post the folder link so you can go there to get any freebie you missed during December. I hope this will make the rest of this Christmas month more peaceful and jolly.

Today's freebie is another sugar-rush (if not in December, then when?). You get a Candy Cane Alpha with capital letters A-Z, numbers 0-9 and 4 symbols (?!,.).

Click image for direct download (4shared) or use alternative links below image.

(the sure choice)

And here is the link to all Advent Calendar Freebies at Dropbox. It will also be placed in the right menu.

See you all tomorrow.

XOXO

I'm Sorry

I made you a promise yesterday, and I am not able to deliver.

As I was done making yesterday's Christmas Balls into glitter versions, the files ended up being WAY TO BIG. Not that you couldn't download them, but your downloads would eat up what is left of my storage download bandwidth, and I wouldn't be able to post any more calendar freebies until January! I don't want that...

I have therefore changed today's Advent Calendar Freebie to something a little smaller but not less great - and you still get a little glitter. Enjoy!

I hope to be back with Day 16 tomorrow.

It's Ornamental

I made it!

Today's Advent Calendar brings you a big pack of Christmas Ball Patterns. As usual, it started out simple and then began snowballing. One little Christmas ornament soon turned into a massive pack of patterns, papers and overlays. But I guess you don't mind, right?

Here is what started it all:

A simple little ball from The Graphics Fairy. It soon turned into today's freebie containing patterns in 6 colours, 3 sizes and files in both PAT (patterns for PS/PSE), PNG (overlays) and JPG (example papers with white background). Furthermore, I have included the PATs as both individual colours and one containing all patterns in one.

Here is the result:

I want to end this post on a more personal note. Some of you have asked questions about the MRI scan I so casually mentioned yesterday, so let me explain:

About a month ago I was diagnosed with MS (Multiple Sclerosis) and that may scare the bejeezus out of anyone. But the fact is that I have been undiagnosed for the last 15 years with LOTS of visits to any specialist you can think of without any clear results, so it was actually a release to finally get a place to hang my hat. The state of my illness is on the mild side so I'm not suffering much from it and as I can now get treated, there is hope for no further development. On top of that, I was lucky enough to be selected to participate in a very promising research program for a new medicine and that is why I now have to go for MRI of my brain every 4 weeks.

I hope that cleared things up - and in case you are wondering: The scan showed clear signs of life in my brain ;0)

See you tomorrow for the next Advent Calendar opening. Before you start playing around with today's material I want to reveal that tomorrow I will bring you the glitter versions. Don't tell anyone, OK?

Another day late...

... and - because of Christmas - a lot of dollars short!

As you have probably noticed, I missed yesterday's Advent Calendar post. But I have a great excuse: I was decorating and baking Christmas cookies :0) But of course you get 2 freebies today, so you didn't miss anything (except my cookies).

Yesterday's freebie is a 4-pack of Christmas Backgrounds. A little different in styles but I hope you can find use for them all.

Click image for direct download (4shared) or use alternative links below image.

And today's gift is papers - Grungy Christmas Papers.

I'll try my best to be back tomorrow, but I have a little MR Scan to deal with in the morning, so I can't promise you 100%.

2 days in 1

Thanks for all your get-well-wishes. I feel a little better today, so I have done my best to catch up with the Advent Calendar = 2 freebies today!

For yesterday (Day 10) I have made you a pack of Christmas Sparkles. 9 different Christmas shapes in 3 different textures: Foil, Shimmer & Sparkle. The reason for this choice is that they are all made with Actions so I didn't have to do much work ;o)
I hope you can use them to sparkle up your Christmas layouts, cards or maybe place cards for the Christmas Dinner table...?

Click image for direct download (4shared) or use alternative links below image.

And for today I give you a set of 3 Vintage Christmas Papers.

Click image for direct download (4shared) or use alternative links below image.

And finally - if you haven't already discovered it - I posted a very small, unannounced emergency freebie for you yesterday. You can get it HERE

I count on being back again with a new AC Freebie tomorrow. See you then!

I shouldn't have...

I knew I shouldn't have gone outside yesterday. Not only did the store not have what I went out for, but the cold and the snowstorm only resulted in the usual: Sinus pains! - A lot of them!!

So actually I came here to tell you that there will be no Advent Calendar today. But I couldn't let you go empty handed, so I grabbed a couple of lollipops for you to say "I'm Sorry". I couldn't be bothered to make a real preview so I better let you know that they are PU Only.

They will not be advertised anywhere, so you are one of the lucky ones for finding them. Also, they are only uploaded to 4shared - I hope it works for you.

I hope you can use them and that you have patience with me for a day or two. I promise to make it up to you when my head stops hurting.

XOXO

Weather Report

Today's Advent Calendar Freebie is inspired by what is going on outside my window right now. For the last week or so we have had light snow almost every day - nothing major. But early this morning it turned into a regular snow storm and as long as I can look at it from inside it's fabulous! I do, however, fear that I have to go shopping in a short while...

But the best kind of snow is the digital kind. It does not bother anyone in any way. Therefore, today you get a Snowflake Pattern to make your own snow storm. As I know you work in different SW I have included lots of files for you:
  • PAT file for PS & PSE
  • JPG papers with white background
  • PNG overlays
  • PSD layered for easy re-colouring
 And they all come in 3 pattern sizes - 1, 2 & 3 inches.

Enjoy and please return tomorrow for another AC Freebie.

A little yummi bite for the weekend

The weekend has arrived, and what is better for a December weekend than freshly baked chocolate chip cookies?

I'm sorry today's Advent Calendar is a bit late, but I have been to a concert - and what a concert! It has become a Christmas tradition to go hear Händel's Messiah in December, and this year it was today. And besides the wonderful music, this year we attended the concert in the most beautiful church in Denmark - Frederik's Church (The Marble Church) here in Copenhagen. It was down right spectacular.

But to celebrate the weekend I have baked you a chocolate cookie alpha. It's low-carb, low-fat and totally free of guilt, so have a lot this Christmas.

Click image for direct download (4shared) or use alternative links below image.

I know it's only 8th December but my Advent Calendar has been very popular, so it seems that my bandwidth for Box has already been used up - Sorry. The two other links should still be OK.

Enjoy your cookies and come back tomorrow.

More Cosy

We can never get cosy enough in December, right?

Opening the 7th Advent Calender door reveals a set of cosy papers in plaid and stripes. Go grab a big mug of hot chocolate with lots of marshmallows or whipped cream (or both) and then snuggle up in these...

When you are done snuggling it's probably tomorrow and I will be waiting for you right here with the next freebie.

A quarter of the way there

When darkness falls
and December frost bites
Brighten you life
with Christmas Lights....

Oh boy, I am a poet!

Opening today's Advent Calender door reveals a mini-mini-kit of Christmas Lights. 2 strings and 2 overlays/papers. I have made the overlays as PNGs, layered PSDs (with and without shadows) and as example papers, JPGs, with white background. Go light up your day!

Tomorrow will bring you yet another Advent Calendar door to open. See you then.

Christmas rhymes with Cosy...

...well, maybe not, but they go hand in hand.

Today's AC freebie is a cosy alpha that does not in itself scream Christmas, but it reminded me enough of cosy blankets in front of the fire place with hot chocolate in the cup and snow falling outside (as it does here today), so it made its way into the calendar. I hope you'll enjoy it.

See you again tomorrow with a new Advent Calender door opening.

How poetic

The other day I fell upon a few designs that I instantly knew I HAD to make something with. They were just SO beautiful. And that is how today's Advent Calender freebie was born.

My Day 4 freebie is called "It's Snowing Rainbows". Isn't that just pure poetry? Can you imagine what it would be like, if snowflakes came down in all the colours of the rainbow instead of just white? Dreamy! Well, here is what it COULD look like.

Have poetic fun with this and come back tomorrow for Day 5.
