What's you mood?

Scrapping is often about stating something in bold - season, state of mind,  feelings, mood, etc. ... and today's freebies are here to help you do just that.

First I give you the means to state that it (soon) is Halloween - just in case someone don't know. 15 x Halloween is the same statement in 15 very different Halloween text styles, ready to top your layouts. They are big (about 9 inches) but they scale down without problems.

Next you get the opportunity to boldly state our Halloween mood. You can use them in your layouts but what about putting a new one on your blog every day around Halloween to let everybody know how you are feeling?

In case you were wondering - here is my Halloween mood for today

I'll be back over the weekend with papers for you - Halloween papers? Oh, yes!

Stay spooked...

Accidental Valentine 17-18

I wonder if I'll ever be finished with this kit...?

Well, not today. I have two more parts of it for you: One with some (funny) WordArts and one with 6 lovely lace bordered papers made with a great action by Eirene that I bought this weekend.

Click each image for direct downloads (4shared).

I have a little bit left for tomorrow (or Wednesday) but I think that will be the last batch.....? Come back for it, please...?

That's what friends are for

About a month ago I received an email that were both scary and sweet:

my mom is justie. I hope i have right emails. I am sure you know a lady is harassing her and I know its cause that idiot is jealous cause I saw her work and it sucks and I watch my mom draw and shes great. she can make lots of great stuff. but she got so stressed and now she ended up having a heart attack. she will have surgery tomorrow but dr said 6 weeks of no work no stress no nothing. my dad said to turn all stores and blog and eveything down for that time so she wont want to work or fix or whatever. she said to email her friends and people to let them know what happen to her so they wont worry or something. she will be home from surgery by next monday if its all ok.

Gena

Justie is the talent behind the designer Just Creations and the blog with the same name and I have for a while considered her a friend. Therefore, I felt so bad about this email and crossed my fingers for more than a week hoping she would be OK. I don't know if my fingers had anything to do with it but she did do OK. Yeahh!

Unfortunately, the same can not be said for her blog. I will not go into details just say that the patient died and Justie is now not only unable to work for a while but also without a place to post...

That is why I was so pleased - and deeply honored - when she wrote to me a couple of weeks ago to ask if I would like her Halloween designs for my blog so they wouldn't go to waste. Of course I did, but I insisted to post them as her designs and not my own. And that is the reason that today's freebies look a little different from my usual freebies.

Justie supplied me with all her Halloween designs and I have re-packed them into 4 freebies for you.

Click each image for direct download (4shared).

"Halloween Frames" - 6 cute frames, full size, 300 dpi.

"Halloween Kit" -  4 papers and 22 elements/WA, full size, 300 dpi.

"Halloween QP" - 12x12, 300 dpi.

"Trick or Treat" - Elements, Word Art and letters, full size, 300 dpi.

Since 4shared is acting up (again) today you get Hotfile links as well:

Frames

Kit

QP

Trick or Treat

When you use any of these  designs in your work please credit Justie, not me. I have included her general TOU with the necessary information.

I hope you will all join me in wishing Justie a speedy recovery and if you leave a comment below I'll make sure she gets it.

Lots of Love to Justie and you all...

Where have I been....? - and freebies

Hi again everyone,

You may have wondered why this blog has been silent for a while - or you may not have noticed at all. But the reason for my absence this time has been all good. I took a well earned Fall Holiday to my personal Paradise on earth - the island of Bornholm. I didn't tell you beforehand because I didn't want to announce to all burglars that my flat was empty for a week :o)

It has been a wonderful week of peace and quiet, sunny fall days and absolute relaxation. I can recommend it to all of you who spend a lot of time with your computer - long walks, fresh air and of course plenty of good food. Another thing I would like to recommend is something I never thought I should say, but here goes...

Bornholm is a treasure for photographers and usually when I go there I return with hundreds of photos. But this time my beloved camera decided to take its own holiday on day two of the vacation, a spring broke and I could not take one single picture!!!! If you love your camera you know what I went through - all seven stages of grief in a few hours. But when I came out on the other side I realized that it was not such a bad thing after all. I suddenly had the opportunity / was forced to actually LOOK at the things around me and remember them in my build-in camera (my brain) and it was fantastic...

Well, enough about me - on to the stuff you came for:

Since I am not able to give you the Bornholm freebies I had planned I bring you a little more Halloween. A paper pack with 7 papers and a small addition of 3 "Happy Halloween" word art. I hope you will find use for it all.

I'll be back again soon - will you?

Today’s freebie is my Valentine’s Doggy Bag with all the goodies I didn’t have room for and I must say my appetite failed me cause there is A LOT left over for you. More than 90 MB of papers, elements, alphas, frames and WordArts.

All in one

.

I have separated it into 3 zips for those of you without a high speed connection but there is also a link for the hard cores among you where you get it all in one go.

I don’t want to sound like a party pooper but I have to say that I have had enough pink and hearts for a very long time. Except, of course, for the big bouquet of soft pink tulips on my table that I bought for myself yesterday… It’s sad, I know. So now I’ll take a few days off and return with a little bit on Friday - and it will have NOTHING to do with Valentine’s Day - I promise!

See you Friday?

Merry Christmas Sampler

Sorry I’m so late… but as you may have notices 4shared has been up and down - mostly down - for the last 24 hours. But now I have finally found an opening and gotten today’s freebie uploaded. The on/off at 4shared also means that if you try to download this freebie, or anything else for that matter, and can not get to it, just try again a little later.

Today I bring you another sampler of one of my new products at Scrap it Sassy - Merry Christmas Alpha - a red embroidered alpha with monogram initials for upper cases and a slooped font for lower cases and numbers.

As it would be pretty meaningless to give you a sampler with a few of the letters from the alpha, I have created some WordArts for you instead. 8 Christmas greetings in 10 different languages to wish (almost) the whole world a Merry Christmas. You get Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, German, Dutch, English, French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. I apologize to all the other languages but I had to stop somewhere. There is always the possibility that you purchase the original product and make greetings in your own language. The original product also includes 3 Christmas Greeting WordArts (Danish, English and French) but not the same as the freebie.

If you like it enough to want your own Merry Christmas Alpha just click on the image below - it will take you directly to my store at SIS.

To trigger your motivation I have taken 40% off the price for the next 24 hours (All Monday 20/12) SO HURRY!!!!

See you tomorrow?

New designs in my store + Free Sampler #1

Long time no see…

I have popped up here today to tell you about my newest designs in my store @ Scrap it Sassy. 4 brand new products all following my usual “style” - aged, nostalgic and ready for your personal touch.

First up is a brilliant alpha made with a gothic font and styled as embroidery. It’s in a creamy white colour that makes it perfect for re-colouring. It’s a full alpha with upper and lower a-z, numbers 0-9 and symbols. CU. Prize: $ 2.50.

Click on image to go see it in the store.

Second up is a nostalgic kit called Nostalgi-Grey. You get 17 elements and 5 papers/overlays all in grey scale for easy re-colouring. PU. Prize: $ 3.00.

Click on image to go see it in the store.

Then a Paper Pack inspired by the colours of Raphael’s Madonna in the Sistine Chapel in Rome. The pack contains 10 solid papers and 10 aged + a little extra! CU. Prize: $ 3.00.

Click on image to go see it in the store.

And finally - my contribution to the SIS August CU Collab. Here you get 10 papers/overlays: 5 patterns and 5 textures. Again it’s all in grey scale so you can use them as overlays and/or re-colour them. CU. Prize: $ 2.50.

Click on image to go see it in the store.

Please notice that 3 of the designs are CU which means that you can use them for everything except other CU products (TOU included in download).

---

BUT…! You all know what new designs in the store means. Yep - Free samplers for you!

You get the first one today and then one a day until Sunday.

Here is a few words made with the Embroidered Gothic Alpha. I have also included a piece of fabric for a realistic embroidered look.

Have fun - and see you tomorrow!

More Pencil Sketchs

Let me just say: Viva España! And then not another word…

I noticed that you liked my pencil sketch frames posted on Friday so over the weekend I made you an alpha in the same style. Upper cases, numbers and symbols are ready for download below, and I also made you a little something extra (shapes and wordart) - just for the fun of it. To limit file size I have separated them into two zips.

But before we get there I would like to make a kind of promotion for the action I used for the products. It’s not something I would normally do, but this one deserves it.

The action is from Atomic Cupcake and is called Pencil Sketch Edge. The alpha I made is made one letter at the time witch gives one effect, but if you use it for full words it’s another effect. Examples:

One by one

Full word

Then, of course, it can be used for other things than letters and words and that is what you can see examples of in the “Something Extra” zip.

A truly versatile action that can be purchased for both PS and PSE. And if you hurry Atomic Cupcake is having a birthday sale through Friday of this week with 30% off all their products so this action will set you back only a little under $5.

But now for the free downloads…

Have a nice Monday. I hope to find something for you for tomorrow. See you then?

More Magnetic Poetry - and then some…

A couple of weeks back, when I had the ”Save the Word” theme, I promised you an Add-On for the Magnetic Poetry Pack. Now it’s here.

As usual, I could not control myself as I got started. New words kept coming to me so I ended up with way more than an Add-on. That is why today you get Magnetic Poetry Volume 2. If you missed the first volume of Magnetic Poetry you can find it here.

But to keep my promise I also made an Add-On. This one is with dates, days, months and years for easy scrap dating.

But… that’s not enough. I couldn’t resist adding a QP I made with the magnetic words, so here is an original NbF QP (png 12x12) with a never before published version of my own poetry…

(Layout used in preview can be seen in "My Gallery")

That’s it for today; I hope you will enjoy it. I’m having a posting-free Monday, but join me again on Tuesday for a blog in full bloom.

Sunday Greetings!
