Last Picnic

Now, this will be the last bunch for the quickly improvised Picnic Blanket Kit (for now).

No kit is complete without an Alpha. I didn’t have time to make one in each colour so I found one for you in my archives. It is actually made for something else, so it is not a perfect colour match, but I think it goes OK with the rest and it somehow has that “picnic feel” over it. If you don’t feel the same I’m sure you can find another use for it…
.

Then I made you a Do-It-Yourself Pack (a little like the flat packs from IKEA, except this has all the screws or bolts included ;o)). Make your own flowers by putting together the flower, the flower middle and the stem - lots of combinations. Or use the flowers separately as they are. The flower middles can also be used as brads. Have fun!

Finally, some gingham bulldog clips just as a little extra.

I have to make tomorrow blog free, as I have some important work to finish before the weekend. But I will be back on Friday with a new “Little Bit” for you.

So see you in July…

More Picnic

I was considering what to make you for today’s freebie and couldn’t think of anything really good. But then a comment came in for yesterday’s post. Jayleigh3 wrote that she couldn’t wait to see the rest of the Picnic Kit…

Well, that wasn’t the plan but a nice inspiration/request/idea, so I sat down and made you some add-ons for yesterdays Picnic Blankets, and maybe the next couple of days will bring more from what is now The Picnic Kit. Thank you jayleigh3!

First some scallop frames made from yesterday’s papers.

And then a handful of tags.

See you tomorrow?

Picnic Time!

So sorry I’m late today. But the summer has finally reached Copenhagen and this morning the weather was just so darn beautiful I had to dust of the bike and go for a ride. As I drove through the sizzling streets of the city I thought: “What a great day for a picnic in the park!”. And that inspired me to make today’s freebie.

I have made you a Picnic Blanket Paper Pack with 5 different coloured picnic blankets before and after the picnic (= flat and lightly wrinkled). Hope you will enjoy and maybe be inspired to go for a picnic in your own park.

I plan on being back again tomorrow - see you then?

A Little Bit Friday 07

Another week went by and it’s Friday again. Today’s “Little Bit” is 5 sponged flowers - red, orange, yellow, pink and white - for adding summer and colour to any layout. I hope you can use them.

I don’t think I will be posting any freebies until Monday, but who knows…? I have been known for getting serious creativity attacks during the weekend.

Whatever happens I want you to have a wonderful midsummer weekend. I’ll see you again Monday at the latest.

For Jody

This was supposed to be my day off, but this was too important.

First of all: Thank you for not being scared of by the ”through shop” download of yesterday’s freebie. I knew I could count on your loyalty :o)

Jody asked if it was possible for me to post the tree as a separate file so she could make her own family tree. Yes, of course it is - anything for you Jody!

So here it is. For Jody and anyone else who can use it. I included the background as well just out of generosity.

And that generosity just got bigger when I found out that we are half way there… only 6 months till Christmas! So tonight we are having a halfwaythere-dinner with the full Christmas dinner with roast pork and rice pudding. And I have included a small Christmas present here for you. You don’t have to wait 6 months to open it. Merry Half Christmas everyone! (Click the bow to download)

NOTICE! - The bow is NOT the present, only a picture for download link... Your Christmas present contains 3 other small Christmas elements.

See you tomorrow for a little bit Friday?

More than just Freebies…

I am now for sale on Scrap it Sassy!

Well, not me personally but my creations under the name Danish Design. Here is what you can get right now (click on the previews to get to the store) :

A nice little paper pack with dots in many colours.

A colouring book for adults - papers and elements in grey scale for you to give any colour you want.

And a puffy felt alpha to go with it.

And finally… something many of you will find interesting. The full pack of Metal Tag Frames that you got a taste of a few Fridays ago - and loved. Here you get them in 7 different metal styles, both separate and as finished frames.

Much more will follow soon.

But I didn’t forget what this blog is all about. So here is a freebie made with the metal tag frames. And yes, you have to get it through SIS and register to download. But that shouldn’t be a problem since you have to do that anyway to buy all my nice products ;o)

I really hope you will enjoy these products and if you choose to make a purchase, please let me know what you think of it.

I’ll be back with “a little bit” on Friday - see you then?

Just Cardboard

I’m a little bit busy today (getting ready to upload to shop) so let’s get straight to the point: I found some torn cardboard bits for you. You can play around with re-colouring, aging or just use them as they are - as long as you remember to have fun!

I’m taking tomorrow off but will be back on Wednesday (midsummer) with a new freebie and - hopefully - news about my selling products…

See you then?

Felt Orange…

My mother’s birthday yesterday went great. We did have a little dispute over what to watch on TV as the World Cup coincided with the Swedish crown princess’s wedding. But the birthday girl got the deciding vote and we ended up watching the most beautiful wedding I have ever seen. No football match could ever match that… Not even the one where my own national team, Denmark, beat Cameroun 2-1! (I guess that tells you that I am not that much into football). If you put true love and fairytales up against sweaty men on grass, I take the fairytale any day, thank you very much! (Click on the picture for more info)

But back to business!

It’s been 3 weeks since I last made you a Puffy Felt Alpha. That means it’s time for another one.

Today you get an orange version that goes great with the two you already have - the Green and the Pink.

Have a great Sunday and please come back tomorrow for a new freebie.

Great News! - and A Little Bit Friday

I have news… GREAT NEWS! I can now officially put “Professional Designer” on my business card as Scrap it Sassy has been kind enough to take me in as a designer in their shop. Yes, that means I now begin to SELL my designs - for money…

In a couple of days you will be able to find me at SIS under my alter designer name:
I will let you know as soon as my products are online and hope you will drop by to check it out. But you can visit already - my new colleagues have lots of great stuff for sale - and ON sale. A click on the picture below will take you there.

I can almost feel your fear: “What’s so great about that? What about the freebies ?!?!?….”. No need to worry. I will still spoil you with freebies on a regular basis here at Nothing but Freebies. And maybe even more now as there will be Samples and Add-Ons to my For Sale Products for you my loyal friends.

But today is Friday and that means “A Little Bit” for you. As my planned freebie turned into a big kit yesterday I made something else for you: 8 leather tags. As we found out yesterday brown is THE summer colour these tags are of course… brown. I hope you like them.

Tomorrow I’ll be busy celebrating my mother’s 65th birthday but I might be able to squeeze in a freebie on Sunday. So please stop by.

See you then?

Is Brown A Summer Colour?

Let me tell you a little story:

Tuesday I was looking through my files to find something for this week’s “A Little Bit” Friday, and fell upon a nice paper template/overlay that I decided to use. Before giving it away to you I, of course, had to test it and make an example paper. And then it happened… The example paper was nice, so I made one more, and one more, and one more. And then I thought “why not try to use the papers for some elements”? So I did. And then came the idea of an alpha. And to make this story a little shorter: I ended up with a Kit!

And you know what that means - YOU ended up with a kit!

Please download the kit below and help make brown a summer colour. You can choose between separate files or All-In-One.

For separate download click each picture.

And don’t worry… This burst of creativity does not mean that there will be no A Little Bit Friday. I found something else for you so please come back tomorrow to get it.

A visit tomorrow will also include some GREAT NEWS…

See you then?

Sorry!

I didn't have the time to finish my freebie for today. BUT...

...the reason I didn't is that it's going to be HUGE! So come back tomorrow for a real treat.

See you then.

Replace & Request

First I want to apologize: Border 03 in yesterday’s border pack was not that good looking. Bad alignment! Please accept my deepest apologies and download the aligned replacement HERE.

Then on to todays download(s):

I had a request yesterday from someone who don’t have either PS, PSE or PSP (Yes, they DO exist!!) and wanted to know if I had plans for posting finished borders ready to use instead of templates. Well, I had plans for making some one day, but Terri’s email made me decide that one day is today!

So for Terri and all others without creative software, and for you with software but also a touch of laziness, here are 2 Border Packs each with 10 ready to use borders made with yesterday’s templates. Pack 1 is with mixed styles while Pack 2 has only metal styles borders. Enjoy!

If you think “I also have something I would like made” please don’t hesitate to send me an email. I’ll do my best to accommodate your requests.

I don’t know if I can manage another freebie until Thursday, but drop by tomorrow to make sure.

Until we meet again - relax and have fun!
