Skulls & Dead Street

Before I get to the fun part, I feel an intense need to send all my thoughts to everyone on the US East Coast who had their lives literally ripped to pieces by Sandy. I feel for you all and hope that you will soon be able to return to some kind of normality. You shall know that however helpless you feel right now, people far away are also feeling helpless, or at least devastated by not being able to help you in such an awful situation.

It doesn't feel at all right to say it, but I say it anyway:

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I am afraid (and what a day to be so) that I told you a little Halloween lie in my last post. The plans for Halloween posting to end today is not holding up. First of all because I have lots to post, but also because I was unable to post yesterday due to bad connections (I suspect that is something else to blame on Sandy). But I guess you don't mind me continuing this Halloween Show a few more days, right?

Today's two freebies are another paper pack and a frame/background.

The papers are made from some great original skulls by Karen's Scraps and Graphics and are delivered to you in both flat and wrinkled versions. And as Karen is very generous with her TOU you get them for CU.

And as I mentioned in an earlier post I have fallen in love with all my hundreds of Brushes and here is one of many freebies you will get from it. It started out as a frame but ended up as both a frame/small QP and a "blank" version where you can add your own stuff.

That's it for today. I wish you all a happy (and spooky) Halloween Night!
See you soon.

Fun Alphas - Kids' Halloween

Have you missed me? 2 full days without posting... Sorry!

But here I am with more Halloween stuff for all age groups. We are talking about 2 fun and colourful alphas that can be used for more than just Halloween. Both are full alphas = upper, lower, numbers and symbols. Have fun with it.

Click image for direct download (4shared) or use alternative links below the image.

I never thought I should say this, but I'm really close to getting enough Halloween...! Oh, no... That doesn't mean I'm done posting for you, I will hang in there until The Day, just a pre-warning that after Wednesday, it's over... until next year.

Have a fab weekend - see you soon.

I plan on taking a little posting break tomorrow - but who knows?

Take care of yourselves and each other.

For the kiddies

I promised you a week or two ago that I would make some Halloween material a little more child friendly. Here it is...

As usual I got started and found it hard to stop, so I hope you have time and band with enough for today's download. Even when separated into 3 parts, they are still a bit on the heavy side. What you get for the trouble is:

  • 12 papers
  • 72 elements
  • 1 alpha

And only because of the size, I have kept more papers and alphas for the coming days!

As you can see, I have not made it too non-scary - children do, however, LOVE A THRILL, don't they? I mean, why else would we have Halloween?

I give you the previews here, but they are not linked today. Links can be found after the images.

Please be aware - the 3 individual previews do not represent what is in the 3 zip parts. They are a mix of them.

A Scottish Holiday

As promised I hereby return with more Halloween papers - but this time of a slightly different kind.

I learned last week that Halloween originates from Scotland! Who would have guessed? But it inspired me to make today's freebie: A pack of Halloween Tartans = Plaid papers in Halloween colours. I hope you like them and thank the Scottish people every time you use them.

Click image for direct download (4shared) or use alternative links below image.

We are getting pretty close to the big day now, and I have so much more Halloween stuff to share. That means that I will be posting almost every day in the next week, so come back often or join my site so you don't miss any posts.

See you soon...

Paper Time 1

This weekend's Halloween freebie is a pack of mixed papers. 10 in all, pretty and not too spooky.

I have also made you a colour palette with the colours I have used for most of my Halloween freebies this year, just in case you wanted to make matching things for your layouts.

Click image for direct download (4shared) or use alternative links below image.

And here are the colours - just click image and then right click to download.
Please enjoy what's left of your weekend and come back tomorrow for Paper Time 2.

What's you mood?

Scrapping is often about stating something in bold - season, state of mind,  feelings, mood, etc. ... and today's freebies are here to help you do just that.

First I give you the means to state that it (soon) is Halloween - just in case someone don't know. 15 x Halloween is the same statement in 15 very different Halloween text styles, ready to top your layouts. They are big (about 9 inches) but they scale down without problems.

Click image for direct download (4shared) or use alternative links below image.

Next you get the opportunity to boldly state our Halloween mood. You can use them in your layouts but what about putting a new one on your blog every day around Halloween to let everybody know how you are feeling?

In case you were wondering - here is my Halloween mood for today

I'll be back over the weekend with papers for you - Halloween papers? Oh, yes!

Stay spooked...

More of the gooey stuff

For today's freebies I return to the gooey Halloween stuff - and TWO freebies of it.

First up is another alpha. Bloody Vampire Alpha contains upper and lower a-z, numbers and a few symbols. I have even included the grunge background used in the preview. All CU.

Click image for direct download (4shared) or use alternative links below image.

The second freebie is a pack of body part papers - eyes, ears, brains and hands - and a little blood, of course! Because of the parts used, I have chosen the name "Look, Listen, Think & Touch".

I'll be back again tomorrow with more Halloween, so stop by again.

Halloween Frames

Happy Sunday Everyone!

Only 2 weeks 'till Halloween - oh, I have so much free stuff waiting for you. Today I have made a pack of Halloween Frames for you. Lately, I have started getting a little irritated about all the PS Brushes I have, but never use. So you can probably expect a bit of Brush Work in the future freebies. Like today - I have taken some great vintage paper frames and brushed them into Halloween frames for you - I hope you'll like them.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, and stay tuned for more Halloween Freebies to come (Oh, how I LOVE this time of the year - it's better than Christmas!!!)

JJ Halloween Backgrounds

Hi again!

Today I have something special for you. A pack of textured backgrounds in my Halloween colours. But that is not what makes them special. No, the special part is that I can not take solo credits for the work. All 6 textures are made from originals by Jerry Jones (hence the JJ in the file name) from Shadowhouse Creations. He is a master of textures, so if you haven't visited his blog yet - HURRY!

That also makes me ask you a favour: If you use any of these BGs in public, PLEASE credit Jerry as well, OK? (see the attached Credits).

Stay a bit spooked until we meet again!

The broken Horror J

I am so sorry about the Horror Alpha from yesterday. For some unknown reason the J is unwilling to download...

An alpha is not an alpha without all the letters, therefore you get the naughty J here - just click the image and then right click to download:

I'm sorry for the inconvenience and want to thank Teri for letting me know about it.

XOXO

Halloween Alphas NEW LINKS!

You may have noticed that my big passion - the alphas - have been missing in my Halloween Zone. Don't worry - I'll make up for it now (and later).

Today you get no less than 5 Halloween alphas in one pack. They are made with Halloween fonts and Halloween styles to make them really Halloween. They are, however, A-Z caps only as some of the fonts didn't include anything else. I hope you will still find them useful.

Click image for direct download (4shared) or use alternative links below image.

NOTICE! Unfortunately, there is a flaw in the file so you have to go HERE too, to get the missing Horror J - Sorry!

LATEST UPDATE (09-10) - As it seemed there was more wrong than just a missing J I have now re-uploaded and changed all 3 links. The new file name has a "2" added. Feel free to re-download if you have an incomplete 1st edition. If you just need the Horror J it can still be downloaded from the link above.

As usual, I'll be back very soon.

Butterflies a la Vintage

Sunday Greetings everyone. Yes, I'm here again.

But today with something a little less Halloween. I have made you a pack of vintage butterfly brads and the only thing Halloween about them are the colours. So feel free to use them all year.

See you soon!

...and some more Halloween

I think I can go on for the entire month with this Halloween stuff... But you don't mind, do you?

Today I bring you 2 freebies.

The first one is kept in the vintage style. 3 framed anatomy sketches, attacked by spiders.

Click image for direct download (4shared) or use alternative links below image.

This second one is a load of charms, flairs and brads - all with Halloween motives. I have included 4 bonus bows to use with the charms, but please notice: The bows are for PU only!

As I made this last on, I suddenly remembered that Halloween is (mostly) a children's holiday, and I have not been very child-friendly in my Halloween freebies. That's what happen when you don't have children of your own, I guess. I will make up for it soon, I promise - (not the "having children" part, but the freebies!!!).

I will be back soon, and don't be surprised if it's with more Halloween.

Take care.

Vintage Halloween

I hope you all survived my Horror Freebie on Sunday...

Today I bring you something a little less scary. I think Halloween and Vintage go hand in hand to perfection, so I made you two freebies in the name of Vintage Halloween - both CU.

I guess (hope) you are all familiar with the blog Far Far Hill, where you get some of the best vintage freebies around. But are you also familiar with the store that goes with it, NeareStore? A treasure chest of wonderful products to surprisingly low prices and with an Unlimited Use TOU included! Not often seen. When you are done here, I think you should hurry over and check out both blog and store. Links:

My first freebie today is made entirely from NeareStore products. 5 vintage papers (almost) without colours but with Halloween stamps.

Click image for direct download (4shared) or use alternative links below image.

Next up is a pack of tags. You might recognise the tags - they are 6 of the vintage tags I posted in June, but now with Halloween stamps - again from NearStore.

Have fun and come back soon.
