More Steam than Punk…

Long time no see! But here I am again - I’ve just been busy out in the real world.

Since my last post I have gone into a serious Steampunk mode. I just LOVE it. And at the moment I am working on something for my store. But as usual you get to be my lab rats and test some of my creations. Today I bring you a mini-kit called “More Steam than Punk”. It contains 4 papers and 11 elements, all in full size.

I would really appreciate if you could take the time and drop me a comment about what you think of it - both good and bad - so I know where to go from here.

Click image for (direct) download - 4share. Since I’m running very low on bandwidth I have also uploaded it to Hotfile - click
HERE to download from there.

I’m looking forward to hearing from you, and I will not let so much time pass before I post again.

Steampunk does nothing for me. Sorry. I need manly stuff, boys 10 thru 15 right now. Most of the stuff I find online is kinda baby-ish.

I guess I'm getting old, but what exactly does Steampunk mean? What determines its elements and colors? I love this little kit, but I'm not sure why I love it!!! Please explain!

Hi Anonymous
You are not getting old! Not many people can explain what Steampunk is - myself included ;o) But a few key words are: Victorian era, science fiction, romantic engineering, steam power and rusty metals. But if you want to know a little bit more go to Wikipedia - they know!?! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steampunk
And I think it's funny that you don't exactly know why you like it. That is just the way I descripe it: "That something I-don't-know". It speaks to me in some way...

Lots of love
Trine

THANKS So much for this great kit.
I've only just discovered this "Steampunk" idea, I really like it, but as before, not too sure why or quite what I'll do with it.

Thanks again,
Sue

i adore steampunk! Thank you for the elements and the alphas! i never thought i'd like that look, but it is great for scrapping my son's and his son's pages; but i was a "rowdy" girl in my youth, so i use it for many of my pages, as well. Thanks bunches!

Full STEAM ahead! This kit is GREAT! I love rusty things - whether it's for a guy page or even a girly one that you add pink and frill to (love the contrast!). So we're LOVIN' this new idea you've got going on here! And those old signs are awesome! :)
